I have had the honor of sharing the inner journey of men and women of all ages and walks of life, from young adults to those in retirement, and frequently those working in the church as vocation. The following training, experience and credentialing has inspired my own journey:

I have always been interested in the common undercurrents and varied understandings each of us brings to our relationship with God, Spirit or simply with this experience we call "life” ~ whether these relationships are rooted in Protestantism, Roman Catholicism, other religions and spiritual traditions or simply a desire to know. I have found my own seminary education and training in depth psychology, Enneagram, and temperament theory to be extremely useful for self exploration-- all are tools that can nurture growth in the realm of spiritual healing. 

 

MY SPIRITUAL & RELIGIOUS BACKGROUND

I was born into the Episcopal Church in San Diego, but like many baby-boomers, stepped away from formal religion as a teen. Still, my wonder, exploration and belief in Spirit stayed with me and eventually led me back to the Episcopal Cathedral in Seattle and later to the Jesuit Seattle University to pursue a Masters in Transforming Spirituality specializing in Spiritual Direction. The program deepened my interest in all the world's religions and mystical traditions was well as in the powerful teachings found in nature.

 

MY SEATTLE LOCATION:

In Seattle, I practice in a space that is rich in history and was formerly an Episcopal chapel on Capital Hill.

 

MY SAN DIEGO LOCATION:

Meetings in San Diego take place in 1charming historic cottage located near Adams Avenue in University Heights.

 

MEETING BY PHONE & VIRTUALLY

Many clients meet with me virtually (computer) or by phone. This way our communication can remain secure even though the client may be at a distant location. Rest assured this approach can be very focused, simple and an efficient way to work.
